We had the best experience surfing today! Brendan was an awesome instructor. Seriously couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. And it really was the best location to surf for beginners. The waves were perfect. The water was a great depth. We had sea turtles swimming around us. My son is young so they started with tandem surf and then he even caught a couple waves on his own. It really was the best first surfing experience! I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you all!

My fiancé Johnny and I took surf lessons with Brendan during our trip to Maui, and we had such a great experience.
We were both completely new to surfing, and Brendan was patient, easygoing, and did an awesome job explaining everything in a way that made us feel comfortable and confident. Thanks to his instruction, we felt confident enough to rent boards and surf on our own the very next day.
We actually ran into him in the water, and he remembered us right away. He was genuinely excited to see us catching our own waves and even offered to give us a push if we needed one.
Brendan is a great instructor and just an all-around good guy. We’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to learn how to surf in Maui.

Bryan was an excellent surf instructor for my 5-day lessons in Kihei. He’s an awesome guy—patient, clear with instructions. I learned about techniques, wave reading, and building confidence. Lessons were fun, safe, and perfectly paced. Highly recommend him or anyone at Surf Club Maui if you want a great surf experience on Maui! Will plan to be back for sure with a friend and I will have him do surf lessons with Surf Club Maui.

My Husband and daughter(15) signed up for lessons and had the best time ever! They felt safe while learning, and having fun! We will 100% use them when we come back, Mahalo! Oh and the photos they took of them were hands down worth every penny! You should 100% book, tip, and invest in the memories!

Had a great experience with Surf Club Maui. Great instructors! We loved the photographer and even bought some hats! Top 10 experiences we’ve had with our kids! Everybody got up and surfed! Highly highly recommend
