Waves Hawai’i surf school was amazing!! Our kids had the best time ever. Val and her instructors were so positive, helpful and made the experience very memorable. Highly recommend anyone looking for a fun surf experience to check out Val’s surf school, Wavs Hawaii!

Kainalu was so experienced and very helpful with giving tips to my 4 boys during their surf lesson. My boys very much enjoyed their lesson and were able to continue to work on their skill the remainder of our trip.

Great instructors and wonderful experience. They taught us and helped us and put us on some great waves! Can’t say enough good things! Really happy with the care and the encouragement they gave us. Highly recommend.

My two kids took lessons with Waves Hawaii and they really enjoyed it and made significant progress. The instructor was really focused on them and did a great job. I think his name was Eddy. I will note that their prices were more than one of the other options, Maui Waveriders, where we also did a lesson. My kids liked Waves Hawaii so much more and the person was more attentive and invested in them learning to surf. Maui Waveriders was cheaper but was not great and one instructor was pretty checked out. The kids were also in the water longer with Waves Hawaii. So I would definitely recommend Waves Hawaii if your kids want to learn to surf.

Lucas was amazing. So patient with a true novice, and so friendly. I absolutely loved my experience and was moved by how everyone knows everyone else in the Kihei, Maui surf community. 10/10, would absolutely recommend to anyone I know going to Maui 🤙
