Randy is the most honest and professional mechanic I have found, many times he has dropped everything to help out in a dilemma. I have taken all of our cars to him during our time on Maui. 2 Mercedes, a Lexus and a Nissan SUV. Michelle runs his business from the office side and she too is very efficient and professional. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience and people you can trust.

I decided to save some money and do my own break job. I had a clicking sound after doing the break Job on the passenger side. I spent two days as a novice trying to get it right.
Frustrated I called Westside and tried to book an Appointment. But they were booked out for a whole month. I explained my problem and they said do a drive by, and they had one of there techs take a quick look at it. They quickly diagnosed it, and said my break line was rubbing on the rim and gave me instructions on how to fix it. All in under 2 mins.
All free of charge, I even tried to give the tech (I Apologize I did not get your name) Cash and he refused.
Pay attention Auto Care of Maui!!! this is how you do customer service and business. You have a loyal customer for life and will only recommend Westside foreign auto to all my friends and family.
Take Care and God Bless, Westside foreign Auto!! They got the Real Aloha spirit.

You will be hard pressed to find a more honest and capable auto repair shop in Lahaina. I've read a couple of reviews on Yelp that were less than complimentary but, I have never had a problem with Randy and his crew. When I called in I told Michelle exactly what I needed done. I was quoted a price that, to me, sounded very reasonable having done the work myself a couple of years ago. As it turned out, my work made their job harder. Oops. Anyway, instead of charging extra for correcting my mistake they just took care of it and didn't charge for the additional work involved. An hour job turned into two hours. No extra charge! I will always take my cars to Westside for the repairs I, apparently, have no business doing on myself.

Randy is a fellow motorcycle enthusiast and all-around good guy. He's replaced a brake-switch button on my wife's Integra for free, and corrected other niggling issues without expecting payment. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
An addendum: I still think Randy and his guys are great, but I’m increasingly not trusting Michelle. She pushes for extra work and upsells quite aggressively. I think I may be headed to Kaanapali Auto Service from now on. Their body shop has done great work. Maybe the workshop is as good.
