Had dinner here; maybe breakfast wouldโ€™ve been a better choice. Pros: - Daughter had the raw salad with tofu patty; she loved it and said it was her favorite meal she had on our trip. - My son had the short ribs and he loved them. The mac salad that came with it was some of the best weโ€™ve had. Cons: - This is the dumbest set up logistically for a restaurant Iโ€™ve ever seen. - You wait in line outside (we waited 45 minutes because we heard the place was great and worth it) and place your order with the hostess up front, then see yourself to a table, get your own water at a water station and any other beverages at the bar where they just set them there with your number. Keep in mind itโ€™s the same spot where people are ordering their drinks so you have to wade through them to get to yours. - Iced tea was weak and watered down as was the cranberry juice. - They had live music which was way too loud for the venue (and Iโ€™m a musician) so we sat outside to escape it. The lights outside are bright LED and are way too bright which kills any vibe. - I had the Pacific Mahi Mahi (which sounded great on the menu). It was bland and the tiniest portion of Mahi. The salad was a handful of greens that were flavorless and barely dressed. Served with dry brown rice with a few pieces of pickled ginger on top. Really? For $23? Shouldโ€™ve just ordered a burger. Special note: What is the point of tipping here? You order your food from the hostess who then gives you a tray with utensils and you go seat yourself. Then you go get your own water. And then you have to wait in line at the bar for whatever drinks you ordered from the hostess (if you want another drink, you have to go line up to order more and this is for all drinks, not just alcohol). Somebody eventually brings your food out to your table, but other than that, why in the world would you bother tipping at this restaurant? Tried it once; wonโ€™t be back.

It was one of the only non-hotel affiliated breakfast places we could find on this side of the island and I'm glad we did. Many great breakfast options. We had the pancakes, french toast, Portuguese sausage side, and vegetarian Benedict between the 3 of us. Everything was very tasty. We liked the open air setup. Would definitely return for another meal.

We visited the restaurant on the third or fourth day of the trip and I instantly fell in love. Iโ€™d been craving for some good vegetarian/vegan food and was not getting that satisfaction but the food here really hit it out of the park for me. The ingredients felt so fresh. The warm bowl, the fruits everything tasted amazing! Would have gone again if time permitted!

lol. First the good, the Korean poke tacos on HH were tasty and the HH crabcakes were enjoyable. Then the Mai tai cocktails were classic tourist trap style. Cheap white rum, amaretto, and a lot of fruit juice. Ok whatever, itโ€™s Maui, itโ€™s OK. The part that is killer is that there is no sit down service, you wait in a long line to order, ours took 20 min and people are confused and dilly dally , the ordering system is slow yadda yadda. Thereโ€™s tons of tables. Food comes out pretty quickly but if you want another drink you order at the bar. That will be quicker, right? No. It took 18 minutes to order a second drink. The card machines have the gall to prompt for 20% plus gratuities for basically self service and inefficient restaurant set up. I do not understand how this is a top anything restaurant on google.

Stopped by on a Wednesday evening around 8pm and although it was quite busy, we only had to wait about 10 minutes in line to place our orders and we were able to find a table that suited us best. Overall, we were quite impressed with the quality of service and food served at this popular local restaurant. All staff here are kept quite busy but are friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be working there. Crab Cake & Greens was good with and a nothing special crab cake but with a very fresh and tasty organic salad. Pacific Mahi Mahi was excellent with very tasty Wild caught Pacific Mahi Mahi, sautรฉed with lilikoi-piccata vinaigrette. Fish & Green Bean Fries with the beer battered Pacific Mahi Mahi, served golden brown was the best deep-fried fish I've had in a long time. Green bean fries were interesting but not that interesting. Roasted Beets & Goat Cheese was excellent with very fresh and tasty roasted beets, organic greens, goat cheese, etc. Ahi Club was exceptional with fresh island yellow fin tuna seared rare, topped with applewood smoked bacon over crisp sourdough. Naluโ€™s Raw Salad was fresh and tasty. The Straight Up Burger was perfectly cooked medium rare with swiss cheese and bacon and the Korean Bulgogi Burger were both delicious and filling. The toasted brioche bun was perfect for these burgers. With reasonably priced delicious local food, service with a smile and very good live music (although a bit too loud for my tastes), this was our favorite place to dine in Maui. We will be back if we have a chance again.
