We visited Kali Cafรฉ in Kihei. The location is nice, the staff is really friendly, and they open early, which is convenient. The coffee was just okay. We tried the bubble waffles, but they were just okay too, probably not something weโd order again.
I also tried the Acai and coconut parfait, which was good. We ordered the bacon egg cheddar sandwich and the bacon egg cheddar bagel sandwich, both were good. We also asked for a croissant with cream cheese, but they forgot the cream cheese, and we didnโt go back to fix it.
Overall, itโs a nice spot.

Personally, I had a great experience. The staff was polite, kind and patient. Maria is awesome. The bagels and coffee were solid. The place was clean and had cute decor and even sold some fairly priced Knick knacks. Would definitely recommend if youโre in the area.

This cafe is awesome! There is a few shelves of locally made jewelry, jam and butter. The menu is good with many options.
I ordered the white rock and sausage, it was delicious.
My girlfriend ordered the Pa'ia bagel, she said it was amazing!
The staff made an impression that I will remember. A local walked in and asked me to wave to his friend behind the counter. It was a funny encounter that I will remember.

The croissant sandwich was really good and I liked that it came with a side of filling potatoes. They also have a new pina colada drink that was cute and refreshing.
I also picked up some of their garlic sauce from the mini shop wall that goes really well with almost everything.

I spent $30 on breakfast and coffee here and when a bite of bagel went down slow as I tried to swallow, I asked for a cup of water. The cashier says, โI canโt give you water. we have bottled water for purchase.โ When i looked visibly shocked she told me she could sell me a cup of tap water for 79 cents. โFor the cost of the cupโ โฆ. she said.
This level of greed, this lack of community care, is uncommon on the island.
Spend your money elsewhere. Gross.
