Our family of 5 from Wisconsin went to Maui at the end of June. We had an amazing time learning to surf with Junior at Goofy Foot Surf School! The views and the water were incredible! We've never surfed before and all of us were able to get up and ride some waves. We spent time on the boards on the beach, learning the steps and then hit the water. Our daughters (24, 21, 18) had a blast and seemed like naturals thanks to Junior's direction on when to start paddling. My husband and I had a great time too! I wasn't sure how hard it would be for us but we did just fine! Whenever I was getting tired, Junior would tow me out to further, which was terrific! We got a lot of great photos from a local photographer and would highly recommend Goofy Foot to anyone!

My boys had a great time with Junior today! The beach was perfect for beginners to intermediate and they were standing up on the boards within around 15 minutes. Two hours was tiring, but they took short breaks in the water and then got right back to it. There were only 4 people surfing in their group so they got tons of individual attention for the whole session. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Maui and I would highly recommend!

Wow! What an amazing experience! We booked a lesson for both of our kiddos, 13 and 10, and it was their first time trying it. We thought they were gonna have a hard time but no….they had a blast! Junior was their instructor. They had some instruction time in the sand and then went out to the water. First wave and both of them did it! They got better and better as they got more confident and Junior was always helping and giving them some tips. He was patient, energetic and so cool! In the end they even got a delicious treat from him. Me and my husband were watching from the beach not only our kids but also the groups with other instructors from the school and we noticed that they all went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time and would actually catch a wave. Their effort, dedication, enthusiasm was amazing. I couldn’t recommend Goofy Foot enough. They are just the best.

Book now!!! Totally recommend this company and visiting Maui to learn to surf with them!! Our family of 6 just had the best surf lesson with Goofy Foot Surf School -everyone got up on their boards and there was even a photographer to capture these cool moments for us. Ages ranged form 20-60 and every one of us got up, even for the first time ever on a surf board!! All the staff was incredibly kind, informative and we felt safe while also having an absolute blast. I personally have done one other surf lesson in a different country and this one was way better!

Our family of four had a very memorable experience in the surf with Goofy Foot! We had never surfed before but all caught waves thanks to the help and guidance of our instructor, Junior! The location was great for learning. Not too crowded and good sized waves.
