5 min walk from all the resorts and right on the beach. Awesome vibe at sunset with live music, hula dancers and cute drinks. We went here twice on our trip to try different things on the menu. Recommend the chef's tasting menu with the fresh catch of the day.

We went to Hula Grill twice, sat at the bar both times, once for dinner. Bartenders were courteous and efficient, lots of good local beers on tap. We were there late, so only bar menu available, we had fish tacos and fish n’chips. Both were really good, both made with local fresh-caught fish. Bar scene was very lively and seemed popular with locals. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Whaler’s Village.

A bit too crowded for our liking, but overall it was fun. The food was very good and worth the visit. The live music was a great touch. The views were fantastic. A lot of day trip excursion boats come and go from this beach making for some neat entertainment. Our server was absolutely amazing and took very good care of us.

Overall we had a great experience. I ordered the coconut seafood chowder which was a large portion and was able to bring leftovers home for the next day. It was definitely a culinary experience! Very unique flavors but if you love coconut you should definitely try it! Our server was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and we feel like we had great service. The music was the perfect volume, we were still able to visit and hear each other. The only downside was the food was a little over priced and it was overcrowded with little room to move between tables.

I have always loved Hula Grill. However, today my burger came out with a completely soaked, wet bottom. The type of bun did not hold up and it seemed to have been sitting for awhile because the melted looking cheese had hardened (like lava😂). Was not appetizing at all because of this wet bread on the bottom.
My daughter opted for the vegetarian taro burger, and she did not like it at all either because everything on her veggie burger was completely room temperature, or as she called it, cold.
The Hula Pie was excellent as always. Will still come here, but probably not for any of the burgers. Burger lovers: you have been warned...
