Among all the great Japanese restaurants in Hawaii, this one may not stand out. Their food is authentic and decent, but I think what truly elevates the experience is the service, the staff were incredibly friendly and made the atmosphere feel authentic and welcoming. Itโs a solid choice still!

Went here for dinner. Plenty of parking in the lot. No reservations taken. If needed, thereโs a queue on the yelp app. Had shrimp tempura as appetizer, then a great tasting ramen and homemade matcha pudding. Tried shochu here. Nice selection of sake also.

Small in size, but HUGE on atmosphere.
The waiter and waitress that served us were friendly and fast. Food truly submersed me back into when I, myself lived back in Japan.
My wife and I left with full stomachs and dreams of Ramen.

I absolutely love the culture they brought to this food. They have so much to choose from. I was disappointed i didn't get to try the okonomiyaki looks great but I had the sukiyaki the traditional way and loved it! Thank you, will definitely be back!
