I was in Maui for a week and decided to get back on the board after about a 10 year hiatus. Had great sessions on the water with Corey , who was able to give me some refreshers and also tips to be a better kiter and enjoying myself on the rides. He is a great instructor that really helps you understand how to feel comfortable and safe in the water. At the end of the 4 sessions, I was riding upwind and having a blast! I was very happy with my progress and glad that I decided to call Aqua Sports Maui and work with Corey , who is an amazing athlete.

I had 15h of kite boarding lessons with Corey and I would recommend him as an instructor to anyone who is serious about learning the sport. Corey is a highly experienced instructor, and an excellent kiteboarder himself, with a deep understanding and intuition for the sport. He is a patient teacher who knows when to intervene with constructive feedback and when to back off so you can make your own mistakes and learn from them. I often experience that he was genuinely happy whenever I had small victories and felt encouraged to keep trying. All the provided equipment was of good quality, in good condition, and properly adjusted for the wind conditions of the day. We met at kite beach, which I heard is were it all started, so between the natural beauty of place and the historical significance of the place, I felt truly inspired and fortunate to be there.

Great experience with Cory and Karen! Cory is a great instructor, as I am an instructor myself. Cory did work with me on an accelerated course and my progress was great. Karen worked hard to work around our rescheduling needs

I was a first time kite boarding student. My instructor Corey was phenomenal! He had a very well thought out lesson plan with great incremental progressions from practicing basic kite control on he beach to getting on the long lines and eventually standing up on the board! He was very relaxed and offered a relaxed induction style of guided discovery vs direct instruction which suited me well. He was also very situationally aware and focuses on saftey and won't let you progress beyond whatever skillset you have. Great equipment, instructions, and an overall great time! Thanks Corey! 👊 . Would definitively recommend!! Can't wait to come back. This is definitely a sport you'll need instruction on if you're new to kite boarding. Money very well spent!

I’ve taken kiteboarding lessons before, but working with Corey was a game-changer. I had struggled with staying upwind in the past, but with his clear guidance and focus on the details, I made huge progress in a short amount of time. He helped me hone my skills, feel more comfortable on the water, and gain real control. Hands down the best lesson I’ve had—highly recommend!
