My Girl Scout troop had the BEST experience with Maui Surf Lessons. We did both traditional surf lessons and canoe surfing. The whole experience was positive from start to end. The girls, ages 13-16, all had a blast. And 5 middle-aged moms joined too--we all had a great time too! The instructors were patient and friendly. They even tied in cultural and environmental teachings with every lesson. I highly recommend Maui Surf Lessons!

Really enjoyed this surf session with our instructor Ryan in Maui! Lovely, quiet surf break, clean waves, and Ryan made us feel safe and looked after, let alone giving us some lessons on the local dialect and alphabet which we felt very privileged to learn :) He also got some amazing photos for us provided for free, which is really unlike any other surf company I've been with before. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience Maui Surf Lessons!

Ryan our instructor was super helpful and knowledgeable. I was initially very anxious about surfing but he eased all my fears and explained everything well. My wife and I had a blast. 10/10 would recommend again.

Surfing with Ryan was so much fun! He is an incredible teacher and was able to get me standing in one lesson. The pictures he took were great and he works really hard to make sure you're having a good time. I had so much fun that I moved some stuff around to book a second lesson. He's just an all around great dude and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to surf.

This was our first time to Maui and our two kids really wanted to try out surfing. Ryan, our instructor, was great! He was very knowledgeable and made it so easy for them to learn the very basics. They got a lot of time out on the waves and we felt really comfortable with them out there with him. If we go back, we'll definitely try it again and ask for Ryan. This company is also very conscience about cleaning up the beach.
