Our first stop in Maui that's conveniently located right by the Residence Inn Marriott. We came in early on a Monday night and the place was packed, but the wait staff were able to get us promptly seated. Rachel was our server, and she did a great job recommending dishes and drinks. Definitely can recommend the Mai Tai as it was super fresh and tasty. And the food options were fresh and delicious. Poke tacos, Fish tacos, fish sandwich, and fish and chips. And even though we were stuffed, we finished it all with a strawberry pie slice. A shame that the pizza oven was undergoing maintenance as we heard rave reviews about it, but that didn't hamper the experience. Overall, this was a fantastic spot for the start of our vacation Maui. Live music, a bustling and lively dinner spot in a beautiful location, and great staff.

We were there for Happy Hour. Drinks had the white walker and Ai Ono. Had the lamb pizza and the Kalua pork and pineapple pizza. Both of them were thin crust and flavorful. Also tried the truffle fries. Service was good excellent and prompt. Bit of a wait to find a table. There was also live music.

Preston, our server was incredible. You should ask for him! We definitely enjoyed our time here. He was very attentive with us and gave us good recommendations. We personally loved the desserts and the Mai Tai. As for the main plates: we had the gnocchi and the macadamia fish. I felt they were somehow unflavored and a bit grassy. I would love to try other things. Would definitely come back to this place!

Really nice and very much matched expectations. Quality food, kind of Hawaiian casual. Fresh fish. Very high quality pizza. Everyone talks about this restaurant and we are very glad we tried it out.

Every time we come to Maui, friends and family all recommend Monkey Pod. We've tried both locations multiple times and it just wasn't that good. My mother's not one to waste food and I've seen her finish some pretty terrible dishes, so when she couldn't even finish half of her bowl of saimin I was intrigued and tried some myself. It was so salty that it was not edible... The lobster was scant on the lobster deviled eggs. I'm not sure why it keeps getting rave reviews, and then I realized something... People don't come to Maui for the food, they come for the beaches, relaxation, and to just unwind. All of sudden this one star review just went up another 2 stars. I suppose that could be why it has such a high rating. The people here are great, the atmosphere is amazing, just have tapered expectations for the food. Note, the pizza was good.
