The food at Nalu’s was just okay. It reminded me of something you would get at Ono Hawaiian restaurant. The crab cakes and short ribs were both pretty meh, nothing special. My daughter said the poke was good though, so that was a win. The staff was friendly, which we appreciated. I am not sure what all the hype is about. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things.

Edited to add, it was so good we came back the same day for dinner and had great mixed drinks, Mai Tai and the fashion to bee. Entrees we enjoyed were the chicken and waffle, pake chicken salad, CBLT, with a side of fried rice and the fruit parfait! Line for dinner looked imposing but it moved very quickly and was easy to find a table at 6:30.
Fantastic brunch, there is a line about seven or eight people deep when we arrived on St Patrick's Day around 11:00 a.m. but it moved very quickly and after we ordered we were able to immediately find a table. Food was fast and fresh with large portion sizes! We had the acai bowls, loco moco, avocado toast and bloody Mary with kimchi! Everything was fantastic!

Had no idea they had happy hour! There was a line around 5pm on a Sunday, but it went by quickly. We ordered off their happy hour menu and liked the short ribs the best. Their bulgogi burger was good too.

Had dinner and was impressed had to go back for breakfast. Crazy line but it’s okay since they give you water and yummy food. Ribs are seriously sensational and the Mac salad was pretty good too. Was eating like an animal I bet some people looked at me funny but I didn’t care! Plus they had a cool guy doing Hawaiian dancing and singing which some of the ladies were going crazy for

Super cute open air restaurant! I had their fish and chips and the fish was delicious! It tasted really fresh and the portion was more than filling. There was a side salad as well that had a flavor profile I’ve never had before and was really good. The staff were friendly and the food came out pretty quickly! Overall, an amazing experience!
