Very casual spot for dining with huge portions and delicious dishes all for a reasonable price. I highly recommend the charbroiled fresh fish with the Cajun rice and the seafood pasta. Onion rings were very hot and crispy. The iced tea was also very refreshing. The servers were super nice and it didn't take long for the food to get to us. If you plan on going during a peak dining hour expect a slight wait in line to order. The seating is slightly limited but it clears out pretty quickly.

My friend ordered a $16 lunch special which was just as much food as my $45 fish combo. I don't understand their logic. My friend kept telling me only Hawaii has this Mahi fish and we must try it. So I did, didn't taste how special it was. We sat on these big cafeteria benches and shared the table with a young family. The coconut drink I bought was $4. I liked the surf board and surfing history on their wall. They also sell T-shirts etc.

We went hiking at Twin Falls and as we were leaving, we asked the ranger at the parking lot where a good place to eat was. She recommended Paia Fish Market as the place with fresh fish but not much bells and whistles, which was actually music to our ears. We got there and there was a line, but it moved quickly because they were very efficient and total pros at keeping things moving.
Once you got to the front of the line, they take your order and gave you a number. That's when you can find an open table to sit down. It seemed magical that no one had to stand around for long to get a table! Food gets served very quickly and it's the freshest seafood you can get anywhere, and we've been to most of the popular fish market eateries around Hawaii.
We had mahi, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, all very fresh and delicious. The surprisingly great food was the onion rings, which is a much have, and I'm not even an onion ring person!
Highly recommend to anyone who lives seafood.

Paia Fish Market is a vibe! Such a great spot for lunch or casual dinner. Easy to order and food comes out quickly and is SO GOOD! Great value for your $ at this spot. My wife and I came back here twice during our time in Maui! Yes it was that good!

I was looking forward to coming here. They have onu and mahi mahi. We had the fish tacos, fish and chips and charbroiled onu. It was good but not spectacular and memorable. I liked the Cole slaw as it wasn’t drenched in mayo. I think the fish tacos were my favorite out of the three. The Cajun rice was made well and tasted good but I wouldn’t call it “Cajun.” It needed more seasoning for this. I think overall food was plain but made well and fresh. It didn’t “wow” me though. The clam chowder looked good. You need to find parking elsewhere and walk here too.
