This store has to have the most extensive wine, spirit section I’ve ever seen. Truly a wonderful experience and the staff were phenomenal. The shelves were stocked and isles were free of trash and debris. Self checkout was quick and easy process, in/out in record time with the items I went inside for which really made me happy!

This Safeway is a huge store where you can get almost anything.
They have all kinds of daily necessities, fresh produce, and even ready-to-eat dishes including Chinese food.
It’s really convenient!

Had to delete my first post to make a second one. You can read my first review here. So 5 days later and there's still ants in the doughnuts. Im assuming the response from owner was an ai response. So clearly no one ehter knows about the ants still or no one cares. Im sure I'll get a generator response along the lines of we take your review seriously and actions will be taken. Nothings going to be done. If you want ants in your doughnuts this is the place.

Lahaina Safeway is definitely in the tourist zone for Maui! Plan on paying double or triple what you'd pay at Maui Costco or home. Store was clean and well stocked. Wife had clipped several "digital" coupons that the cashier had no idea how to apply so we had to wait for a Manager to help us. That sucked- if your gonna do the digital coupon deal train the staff how to apply them to your bill. Hate holding up the line for lame coupons but 28 bucks was worth the grief. My guess is they hope you dont use them.

Smells funny and staff was very rude. Not to mention high prices on everything. This place sucks and should be closed down these items are definitely a product of price gouging and should be shamed
