What a great local restaurant! Pretty sure we were the only tourist in there at the time. It's not a big place, but they pack a lot of flavor in big portions! Stumbled upon this place on the way down the mountain.
You can instantly see everyone comes for the pizza. It was neat to watch them hand toss the dough right there. The pizza was a bit New York style, with a crispy thin crust. The flavor was fantastic!
We also got two pasta dishes, Vodka Penne was pretty good and very popular. I really enjoyed the Mahi Pasta, a great sauce and lots of fresh veggies. Plus the fish was perfect.
The building is older and very simple, but that makes it so charming. It's a wonderful little place and the staff put a lot of love into their work. Be sure to check them out and support the locals. You won't be disappointed!

So good we went twice in the same day! Pizza- excellent, especially the crust! Chicken tenders- my kids loved them! Sandwiches and raviolis were also very good! The place itself is nothing fancy, but typical of a NJ pizza place as it is modeled after. Close proximity to start of road up Haleakala.

Made a stop here on our way down from viewing the sunset and stars from Haleakala. Serpico's was open late (9:30pm I think), and pizza sounded good to all but 1 of my kids.
The pizza was tossed and made right by us in an open kitchen where we could see the pizza oven and everything. The pizza was piping hot and had a crispy crust. Very delicious.
Small place, but they also do takeout.
Staff was super accommodating and nice. The poor appetizer focaccia with marinara was a hit, especially since we were starving.
My son that didn't want pizza ordered a kids portion of spaghetti with a meatball and was worried that there wouldn't be enough food. I'm happy to report that he was impressed by the portion and completely satisfied!

Small local joint. There was no air conditioning, but it was a cool day and it didn’t feel uncomfortable inside. There are no bathrooms. Food was served quickly and was fresh. Service was great. Our server was friendly. The food was average for being Italian food and was reasonably priced. The pepperoni cheesy garlic bread was good. Marinara sauce was on the sweeter side and not too chunky. It tasted great. The Philly cheesesteak was average. Bread on the sandwiches did taste like it was freshly baked in house. Chicken Parmesan was cooked to perfection, but would have likely the breading on the chicken to be seasoned. The Caesar salad dressing was delicious. Drinks come in can, not fountain drink. I would come back here again for the price point.

This time I had the pesto shrimp scampi!
Soo worth it. For the price and quality this place is my go-to upcountry. Open late as well.
