This was such a good class! I've been to one other surf class before in California but this was miles better. David was our instructor and he was super sweet and helpful! 🫶 He went over the basics perfectly and helped us catch a lot of good waves, also giving us constructive feedback to work on. Me and my brother were first time surfers (barring that one bad class I've had) and we were able to surf comfortably by the end. They also had a photographer in the water with us who got some great snaps, but I would suggest that he takes his pictures towards the last 1 hour of the class instead of the first 20 minutes, because that was when everyone got comfortable and looked and felt better 😉 the photos were a little pricey but overall would still recommend this place 100%! :)

I took a lesson with my wife (I've gone once before, she never has) and we both stood up! Actually quite a few times. Our instructor, Bryan, was great! His directions were clear, and he was basically able to push us into the waves to get us going the first few times. We eventually graduated to paddling in ourselves with his guidance. Overall great experience that I highly recommend!
Their photographer, Kai, took some great pictures from the water while we were out there. The perfect keepsake for a great time, and I definitely recommend buying his pics when you're done!
Oh yeah, we saw a ton of sea turtles too! Or maybe just the one and he hung out with is for a while. Hard to say, but really cool!

Instructor Sargent was super experienced, nice, entertaining and professional. Our group almost everyone got to stand up go down and finish waves in the first 2-3 runs. He's very patient and the photos are all great!

I ended up booking the same day and the owner Suzie was accommodating to our request. Upon our arrival, we met with Matthew who provided us with the gear needed for day. A few minutes later, our instructor Epes Sargent came along to teach us the art of surfing. I’ve had instructors in the past, but this guy was the best hands down, that my 14 and 9 year old sons, were able to pickup the course with ease. Mahalo, as we were able to enjoy the waves together as a family. See y’all next season!

Sarge is an amazing surfing instructor! Despite my fear of open water and the fact that I never learned to swim, Sarge patiently guided me through every step. Even after having two panic attacks on the water that day, Sarge's encouragement and expertise helped me get out on that board and surf. I couldn't have done it without him. Highly recommend Sarge for anyone looking to conquer their fears and learn to surf! . Much love from a new yorker, mahalo
