This was an awesome experience. Our instructor was patient and knowledgeable, and great with the kids. This was our first time surfing and we felt comfortable and at ease the entire time. The prices were affordable, the staff was kind, we had the time of our lives. We definitely recommend Surf Shack in Kihei.

1. Would highly recommend surf lessons from here - our instructor was really good and gave us everything we need to know for our first time surf session.
2. It is priced almost at half the price the surf school across the street.

Stopped here to grab a kayak. Nice spot, fairly quick to get what you need and good prices for rentals. Went out no problem, the kayak was in great order and since you are right next to the beach, makes it easy to just head out.

Had a great time with beginner lessons at Surf Shack. Mike was a great instructor and we loved riding the waves! Highly recommend!

Great lesson by Jay (Boca Juniors).
Two adults and two children 10 and 12. Awesome time. All surfed upright on first attempt. 5 in our group so it felt very private. Waves were mild and easy to ride. Highly recommended. No pressure. Just a whole lot of fun for a beginners class. Caught maybe 15 waves a piece. And the photo package is very reasonable with multiple great action photos of each of our group.
