I was fortunate enough to receive an invitation to their preview night (3.3.15) by a friend, thus avoiding maddening crowds on public opening day of 3.4.15. THE STORE: Maui's first Target boasts a Starbucks, Pizza Hut Express with a small seating area with views of the front parking lot, and pharmacy. The overall layout is easy to navigate with wide aisles and lots of checkout stands. The grocery and household goods sections which are what I'm most interested in, far exceeds their competitor's offerings by a big margin. My long hunt for a decent-looking indoor trash can has finally ended. The meats, fruits, and veggies all looked fresh and were priced very competitively or cheaper than supermarkets. And best of all? The majority of things were cheaper here than at Wally's. Score! The electronics department was well organized, especially the DVD's and Bluray's. No piles to rummage though, only neat-looking racks. Yes! They do have a tiny garden section, no plants, just a few tools and fertilizers. The pet section was okay. The variety of leashes and collars were on the small side but the food was plentiful. No fish for sale. TIP: They sell Papyrus-brand cards! OVERALL: A great addition to Maui's market, but I find myself at Walmart more as they have everything I need and then some.
Jane was so helpful today. I went in looking for a specific item and when I couldn’t find it, I went over to ask her for help. She was very kind and friendly and went the extra mile to get it for me by going to the back to retrieve it. I know how hard it can be to find great employees and Target should be proud to have her. Excellent customer service.
We only did drive up pick up order but that was a very pleasant experience. I ordered the night before. It was done before I even went to bed. We told them we were on our way the next day. Once we checked in, it came out less then 5 minutes later. The staff member was super sweet and helpful. They had everything we requested and they were efficient. I'd come back!
The Starbucks inside this Target has two amazing baristas, Keirstyn and Kyahna. If you see this dynamic duo behind the counter, treat yourself to a coffee! They’re incredibly efficient, friendly, and keep things moving so the wait is always short.
Raynette, at the customer service desk is a HUGE asset to this Target team. She was so helpful with my return and pick up items. I had a large order and she made sure I got everything. She had a lovely positive attitude and made me feel so welcome!! She even noticed one of the cleaning supplies I purchased was leaking and asked someone to get me a new item. Such great teamwork. Thank you so much for helping me today!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
