Me and my wife had no experience in surfing so we decided on our honeymoon to book one in Maui, we are so glad we ended up with Lucas. From start to finish it was one of the greatest experiences we’ve ever had. The safety tips before getting suited up, the training off the water and little tips after we would fall made the experience a blast. By the end of the 2 hours we were catching waves pretty much by ourselves. We recommend booking with them if you have a 2 hour slot and are willing to learn!

We loved it so much and Eddie our instructor was the best! We had so much fun we went back for a second morning! We did buy the professional pics too which I wasn’t expecting but they were too good to pass on

Waves Hawai’i surf school was amazing!! Our kids had the best time ever. Val and her instructors were so positive, helpful and made the experience very memorable. Highly recommend anyone looking for a fun surf experience to check out Val’s surf school, Wavs Hawaii!

Absolutely the BEST experience for both adults and kids! The instructors were incredibly friendly, patient, and so much fun. They made everyone feel comfortable and confident, whether it was your first time on a board or you had surfed before.
The energy was amazing, the instruction was top-notch, and they somehow made the entire experience feel exciting while keeping everyone safe (shoutout to Sascha and Sophie!!) 🏄🏼♀️
This was, without question, one of the highlights of our trip. We would do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui!

Lucas and Eddie led our group lesson and they were simply the best. This was our second time with Waves and we all had fun and were able to get up on the boards during the lesson. Mahalo Waves team!
